Another ~wild~ idea: Instead of surprised-pikachuing when no women apply to your impossible req list and then hire a man anyway bc "WeLl nO WoMeN aPpLiEd 
", perhaps spend the resources to actively pursue and headhunt female talent. Be proactive in your recruitment processes.
