My language loving brain really wants to know what those mean
I speak 5 languages (all 5 have been of frequent use at some point) so my head is a mess. Some expressions I've literally translated out of need 
"I'm always missing one to get to a hundred" is one of those.

Thanks for sharing! Germanic languages have such cozy and good vibe terms. We have one that means "the action of eating so much you're incredibly full but not reaching a painful level".
