I do agree with this though. Companies shouldn't underpay their staff, and they should have permanent contracts - the games industry needs to be better at this. It's no secret games pays less than other areas of tech, since we work for "passion". This def needs to be improved!

Games industry is notorious for burning people through crunch time and then when the project is done doing mass layoffs. Other industries see constant cycling of newhires getting trained, then when they get to the point where seniority and experience becomes relevant are let go
