Game devs cant do much except for dealing with it AFTER it has happened. This is up to the male population and parenting. If people claim you are white knighting, tell them to shut up. You are speaking up against bullying and it should be done regardless of gender anyway...
Agreed that the primary education begins WAY before they even log on to a game. But we as devs can still work to promote good behaviour & a constructive community within our own playerbase. Also agreed that we should encourage speaking up more! Having others step in is SO GOOD.
