Players need to police other players. Enough flags gets an automatic review. If review if deemed abusive, temp ban. If repeated, permaban. I know it cuts off revenue to reduce the player base. But, so does having a toxic environment.
10000% this. The loss of a large percentage of people who are too worried to play out of fear of harassment FAAAR outweighs the trolls imo.
I love receiving the notification in League that my report actually did something. Obviously algorithms, reporting tools, etc. are important. But you need buy-in from a significant part of the player base.
