How do you change something so fixed into a culture? Its not Valorant, it is gaming. You are fighting a culture that made harassing woman into a meme. Would love to see a movement that pushed guys to use voice changers online to sound more feminine.
That's literally the whole point of my tweet and exactly what I'm asking fellow game developers for their thoughts on.
Why are you asking them?This is not something they can put resources into solving. It is a big risk in doing so, espesially Valorant of all games being it is new. If you are truly moved, and want to make and difference, take the first step. Take the risk you ask them to take.
Ofc it is. And Anna said they already are; Riot is a huge company. It's our responsibility as gamedevs to ensure our players are safe & happy while using our products. Games are meant to be fun; that's the whole reason we play. And I already am. Making games is literally my job.
