Yeah it's heartbreaking, hey... She did respond to my tweet though and say that they're working on improvements, so fingers crossed!
My wife's a gamer, and one of the most disheartening things I ever witnessed was her changing her gamertag to something far more gender neutral then what she originally had. She did that solely because of the incessant, misogynistic harassment she received online.
Yuuuup I do this everywhere too for the exact same reason.
