Interesting how all the concerns for "historical accuracy" in video games only ever seem to come up when a major franchise lets you play as a minority or a woman.
You were more likely to die of an infection than of a sword, but sure tell me more about "historical accuracy"...

Their grasp of history isn't very good, either, considering how many women participated in Viking raids... (Ignoring all the ancient aliens stuff in AC, obvs :v)
So many! Also one of the only Vikings to ever have been found buried with a helmet (iron helmets were a huge symbol of wealth & were both extremely scarce & usually stolen/looted once the bearer died) was a woman! Her being buried with it must have meant she was powerful AF.
