If companies' leadership was elected, like political leaders are, how would that affect society? How would it affect companies on a both large and small scale? And how would that affect the leadership style that people would try emulate?

I think if they were elected by workers you would see companies become more stable, and wealth would be less concentrated at the top and more evenly distributed to the lower and working class.

However I think if they were elected by the company ownership / shareholders then things would be much the same as now.

Yeah. Tbh I think it’s not just about leadership style. I wish more companies were co-ops or at least 51% of the stock was held by employees. I think it would lead to a better balance between a desire for profit and working conditions.
