If companies' leadership was elected, like political leaders are, how would that affect society? How would it affect companies on a both large and small scale? And how would that affect the leadership style that people would try emulate?

Would they be elected by the workers or all of society?
I was thinking by the workers. Unless you've got thoughts on the other option too?

Was just thinking about how that would affect the really, REALLY big companies, and if they would be more compelled to move to countries whose citizens would be deemed more apologetic towards company methods and policies.
