Hi Anna! I'm a woman too, and I'm sorry you've been receiving so many insults for wanting to start a conversation. I agree partially, but I did want to mention that Riot has made many strides to make the game more inclusive since its release, when the article was created 1~

When the game began, it was extremely sexist. Female characters had no backstory and were complete objects and Riot was criticised for this. Speaking only for champions, Riot's newest release tend to be much more inclusive and story focused, with less fan-service 2~

There are now female power fantasy characters being released. My fave is Senna, who I look up to as a complete badass. I think as riot updates the champions, there will be less 'sona-esque' champions and more senna like ones. Skins tend to learn more to fan-service. 3~

I generally don't feel as annoyed at fan-service skins as much as the champions. Champions like sona and janna annoy me because they are literally just objects with no cool backstory or personality. I think some fanservicey, unrealistic skins are okay 4~
