The general consensus is that this is a common scam, and safe to delete and ignore! Leaving it up in case anybody else receives something similar and is also unsure of what to do with it.

Just received this phishing email that I don't want to open. While I'm not particularly concerned, they do in fact have an ooold password of mine (that's prob been unhashed from an old breach). Probably best to change all your passwords and ensure you have 2FA set up where possible. You could report it to Google, it may be worth reporting it to the police too as it may be consider extortion

Yep I replaced my old passwords years ago. I use
@LastPass today (with strong random passwords) and 2FA in most places. This password is super old, they've likely only just been able to unhash it now, years after a breach. Wonder if the police would even know what to do with it?
