Hey #ADHD peeps in the UK! I have a couple of friends in London who suspect they might have ADHD but have no idea how to get diagnosed or medicated over there. How does one go about doing it all with your healthcare system? Comment with your best tips please!

My GP told me it's the most oversubscribed area of diagnosis with a waiting list of 18 months (at least in my area, the North West). Diagnosis starts with filling out a simple survey from your GP which helps triage you. That's as far as I've ever really gotten.
Yep that was the same for me. I was told Stockholm had a waiting list of 2 years... So I went to a specialised ADHD Clinic in Copenhagen instead, where I got an appointment within a month. Is there some sort of equivalent over there?

My next step is exploring private healthcare options here in the UK, so whilst I can't speak from personal experience, I'm sure a similar option will be available in the UK for a cost.

Yeah there were private options in Stockholm too, but exorbitantly expensive unfortunately. Surely there are similar niched clinics outside of London though... Somebody out there ought to be able to recommend one surely!
