How did this happen, he was already convicted and found guilty wasn't he ? What about the evidence against him, Jesus I was livin n workin in Melbourne when this case was goin on and it feels surreal to see this as the final conclusion !
Yeah same. It's totally mind-blowing. His lawyer even admitted Cardinal Pell's crimes in court - and somehow (somehow?!) the high court suddenly quashed it, months later. Unanimously. That article makes me sick, I mean how can anyone in their right mind defend this behavior in the context mentioned, trying to emphasize it isn't a heinous crime ruining innocent children's lives like this should be punished not loosely excused. Buncha cowards !!
