How to heal fresh tattoos perfectly using Opsite/Saniderm/etc.
These are breathable transparent films that tattoo artists now recommend putting on fresh tattoos to make the healing process FASTER & EASIER!
Here's a step-by-step guide as I keep getting asked about it.

This is amazing?? I'm always worried about no airflow being a breeding ground for bacteria though (hence why I stopped using cling wrap). Is that not a concern with this stuff?

Nope, this is a breathable film, it's not actually plastic :) It's meant to simulate skin (hence why one brand is called Second Skin) and has lots of tiny holes to allow your actual skin to breathe. It was originally developed for healing third degree burns!

Incredible, thank you! I'm totally going to have to find some for my next tattoo!

Do it! You'll definitely find some variant of it at your local pharmacy :) Get the long rolls, not the little stickers...

Oh man I wish I saw this when I started on my sleeve... any idea where I can get the OpSite Flexifix in Sweden?
Great guide!

Oh, I just realised that the link I sent is for one that's 10m, not 1m like the one in my photo! That would explain why it's so expensive... And in that case it's actually a really good price - but far far more than you'll ever need
