I was diagnosed at 26. It took me 5 years to get it together enough and also 5 years for the NHS to stop bullshitting me about. It's ruthless how much it affects, isn't it? 
It really is, hey... The irony that it's the thing that I'm trying to get help for that's actively hindering me from managing to actually get help, isn't lost on me.
It was an absolutely uphill battle but we've both made huge progress! Now it's just figuring it all out.
Haha I think I've kind of already figured most of mine out... I got pretty obsessive about it in the beginning (hello hyperfocus!) and have now researched the absolute crap out of it for over 6 months. I could probably give a lecture on this if I had to
