This article is me down to a T. I lived 32 years with ADHD and was only diagnosed last year. My life feels like it's been flipped on its head - but in an amazing way! If this piece resonates with you, please get yourself evaluated! I just took the test; each question making me silently go “f[CENSORED]k, I actually do this, more often than not” The result, the meter was so far to the right I felt like it would break the page. Are there any recommendations on whom I could talk to in the Blue Mountains area?

Yep sounds like a textbook case! I'd recommend you go speak to your GP and they'll be able to refer you to someone. Feel free to give
@danidonovan a follow too, and do some reading in advance so you're prepared and know what to ask for!1 odpowiedź 0 podanych dalej 1 polubiony -
Thank you, Anna. I’m hoping to use a more psychological approach rather than be medically reliant. Just followed
@danidonovan. Her comics are a real reflection of what I see in me.1 odpowiedź 0 podanych dalej 1 polubiony
You do you!
But just also pointing out that medicine is not a bad thing, and shouldn't be stigmatised. People with ADHD have a literal chemical imbalance in our brains, and medicine is there for a reason to help. For many it's a basic requirement, just like food and water :)
