That sucks, I'm sorry to hear that. Go to a different doctor? Do a bunch of research beforehand and learn how symptoms differ between people (eg extroverts vs introverts, hyperactive vs distracted, etc etc) and then go speak to a doctor who actually knows about ADHD in adults.
