When I was a very young, very angry leftie, older people would smile gently and tell me that I was just naive, and that I'd become more conservative when I got older. And yet here I am, in my 30s, a grown ass adult - and I have never been angrier or leftier in my entire life.

Same. 42 going on 43. There's no reason that anyone should suffer on this planet except people with means seem wholly indifferent to it.
It's so frustrating. The people with the most power to change this are the ones refusing to do it.

When you wonder what's happening, just ask yourself "cui bono?" it's Latin for who benefits... Who benefits from uneducated workforces, chronically ill, chronically poor, people? The ones that want to exploit them. Educated, healthy, stable people would change the world.
