When I was a very young, very angry leftie, older people would smile gently and tell me that I was just naive, and that I'd become more conservative when I got older. And yet here I am, in my 30s, a grown ass adult - and I have never been angrier or leftier in my entire life.

Trying hard to be less outwardly angry, though. Hard to sleep well when my gut is a red hot ball of lava. -
I can do relate with this. On the advice of a good friend I'm trying to keep my circle of concern within my circle of influence. Anything else and I get depressed at the state of the world.
