The way news phrases things lately has been so deeply disturbing. It's far more than an accident, it's intentionally manipulating the headline and story to frame the victims in a negative manner
Case still stands.
So much this. The media was all "oh he bad, he cyber bullied a whole city!" when in fact he simply held a bunch of people in positions of authority accountable for hiding evidence and protecting the rapists, threatening to blow their cover for it.

But it's not just this instance. In my recent recollection we had the woman who was murdered by her husband and stashed in the freezer described as "nagging" and the woman who was murdered by a tinder date was ousted to be curious about BDSM. It's incredibly scary.
