Wow, this really sucks. As a human, and particularly a white male one, I'd like to apologise and say I'm sorry this behavior exists and you were made to feel devalued. It's not true, you are valuable.

Where are you seeing this happen btw? I live in Colorado and when people visit I've heard multiple times that they don't understand why everyone is so nice. I don't feel awkwardly nice, just normal decent human behavior. Maybe we just get more sunshine? I don't know.
