I did this in the subway in Stockholm. I called it buisnessman chicken. About 90% of the men walking head on with me walked into me, and were surprised there was a person in front of them. No women ever did. Ever.https://twitter.com/annabrandberg/status/1196341286258774017 …

I usually get out of the way from oncoming traffic, but once when I was walking home w two full bags of groceries and a teenage girl didn´t want to leave the side of her boyfriend and give way. I guess she learned physics the more painful way as she walked straight in to me.

Yeah, that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about businessmen with little or no stuff just steaming straight ahead because they don't want to acknowledge that there are other people.

But what I am saying is that it´s not only businessmen. I have spent my whole life dodging people who think they are alone in the universe. Old, young, men, women. But I´d say the asshole-factor is higher among males.

Yeah naturally there are exceptions to every rule, but what we're talking about here is a pattern of behaviour that is overwhelmingly perpetuated by men, and overwhelmingly it's women having to adjust their behaviour to accommodate them.
