I'm so tired of being the one stepping aside for oncoming men on the street who don't even seem to acknowledge there's a person walking here. New rule: Time to just not. Let's see how many men get surprised and angry when they bump into me, because I didn't step aside for them.

I've been doing this for about a year now - at first it was quite confronting, now it's comical. Almost every single time, they are shocked/angry - why didn't I move out of the way for THEM?! It is an extremely small number of (perceived as by me) men that have moved for me.

Yep, a few men do it, but not many at all! I need to learn to do this. I'm aware I'm not as much of a presence as you though, and will inevitably be on the worse end of the stick of the upcoming collisions

Anna Brandberg @annabrandbergW odpowiedzi do @Teogt500I did exactly this today (which was what prompted the tweet). Looked him dead in the eyes as we walked towards each other, but he didn't even acknowledge my existence, and I actually had to step off the curb and into the street to let him pass. I was SO ANGRY.1 odpowiedź 0 podanych dalej 1 polubiony -
