I'm so tired of being the one stepping aside for oncoming men on the street who don't even seem to acknowledge there's a person walking here. New rule: Time to just not. Let's see how many men get surprised and angry when they bump into me, because I didn't step aside for them.

I am not usually a rude person BUT, if I am off to the side of the sidewalk and you do not move to your side respectively, I WILL firm up my shoulders & red rover check through. Hockey rules when it comes to jerk pedestrians. Never once was I jostled in Japan; way more people.

I totally noticed this about Japan too, and even pointed it out to @pixelsmixel at the time! We could be on a super crowded street, and would never get bumped into. Huge cultural difference in awareness of the people around you!
