Pretty much every tournament out there is currently male only already, whether intentional or not.

Im just out here meme'ing, but no, they do not gender lock those tournaments, while sure there may be more males than females that are able to make it to finals & what not, they do not refuse females from competing based on their gender

No they don't "refuse" them obv. But there are a million reasons why there are literally no women at these tournaments, ranging from rampant misogyny to a lifetime of gatekeeping young girls from gaming communities. Doing this is a way of encouraging women to play competitively.
