If you're 18 and somebody 10+ years older wants to date you - that's not a compliment, that's CREEPY AF. There are so many red flags that you prob won't see until you're older & look back. Don't be flattered that someone older wants to date you - be creeped out. Don't walk, RUN!
Exactly this. My parents have 11 years between them too - the difference was they didn't start dating when my mum was a teenager.

Mine did though my mum was 17 when she got with my dad.. as say happily married 30yrs.I think when your younger it is frowned upon to date someone alot younger.yet once that person turns say 20-21 no one really cares.I think biggest issue is depending on how young said person is.
