I'm heading there in August with a sleeve full of tatts - any advice? I'm getting very mixed information online and I think a lot of it may be out dated..
It's really not that big of a deal, you don't need to worry. Just ignore the older dudes and you'll be fine. We haven't made it to an onsen yet, but there are apparently lots of tattoo friendly onsens now, so I'm not worried!
