Best place to stay near Mt Fuji for a night? @pixelsmixel and I are planning our Japan trip and looking for an onsen with a nice mountain view - preferably that allows heavily tattooed people (ahem). If it doesn't break the bank, that'd be nice too. Best suggestions?

Is there a Khaosan (hostel) near there? They were very affordable when I was traveling. Though I didn't stay in that area.

I stayed at the box hotel is hakone which was like 500 a night >< but was really cute right on the lake. And for onsen we went to hakone yuryo which was so cheap and nice. They do massages there too
