Unchecked privilege for some, sure. Consider also that having a home is a privilege too, and that travel isn't always a choice.
Half my flags were neither a choice nor an option - and yes some were bc I was a child. But our childhood forms our identity, which molds our choices as adults. I don't have a home, so when a job disappears in one country, I don't have the option to not take a new one in another.

For sure. I didn't have the choice either as a kid, but I'd give my left arm today to have a place anywhere in the world that I felt I genuinely belonged in. So I guess I'll continue to spend my life looking for that...
