How to heal fresh tattoos perfectly using Opsite/Saniderm/etc. These are breathable transparent films that tattoo artists now recommend putting on fresh tattoos to make the healing process FASTER & EASIER! Here's a step-by-step guide as I keep getting asked about it.

I've been healing my tattoos like this for the past 2 years and honestly cannot recommend it enough. It makes it so easy - and so much faster too! I love being able to just apply it and then forget all about it!

Yooooo completely unsolicited advice from a tattooer here but you might wanna skip the hustle butter/cling wrap step entirely. Wet healing overnight can trap bacteria in there causing a problem before you out the second skin on. It's better to apply is immediately after the sesh

Interesting, okay! My artist was the one who said this was fine to do - esp since colour pieces will just weep the SecondSkin right off overnight on the first night? I'll read up some more on this though! Thank you :)
