I worked in childcare for 7 years and my sister is a kindergarten teacher and every kinder lesson they’d do a small thing on consent when it came to giving their friends hugs and kisses cause some children had sensory issues and didn’t like to be touched.

It worked temendously well! Kids always asked for permission before giving a hug and they understood they had the right to say no and that if their friend said no they needed to respect that!
