100%... There is like absolutely no reason to have fake pockets. Although maybe for stylish/fashion reasons or something there might be no pockets on a pair of pants but definitely not fake ones. No point

There's a lot of history behind this, by the way. Women's clothing was stripped of pockets a loooong time ago because those designing clothes preferred a slimmer silhouettes on women rather than letting them be functional. Have a google, it's very enlightening - and infuriating.
