In terms of ANYTHING (drinks, food, business cards, general conversation, etc...) You can ALWAYS just say no. That is perfectly fine. And if you don't feel like being somewhere (or near someone) anymore - just walk away. That is perfectly fine too!

Don't assume intent. If someone seems aloof/uninterested/etc - they may simply be exhausted! But also, don't take shit from anyone - even if they're high profile! You deserve to be treated with respect always.
