Those of you who have good health 90% of the time don’t understand how it can be.
Here’s me: I have work tomorrow yet I’m in so much pain I’m falling asleep in my shower trying to numb myself when I should really go hospital but can’t cos holidays and can’t let work down.

If you're in that much pain you should 150% _NOT_ be going to work! Some job is NOT worth your health, bb. Your boss will understand and want you to prioritise your health (and if they don't then you need a new job). Prioritise yourself! I'm serious!

100% agree. I learnt a long time ago that we are all expendable in the end. Bend over backwards for them, and if they need to, they will cut you loose without a second thought. Sure not all business owners are like that, but it happens all too often. Look after yourself first.

You're a beautiful and compassionate human, but don't forget - your health is still more important than some shop's Christmas money. If they are short on staff they need to employ more people. You should never *ever* feel guilty for taking a well needed sick day!
