Honestly what do you expect when you're a closed book on these decisions? We know it's very likely due to monetisation and some bean counter saying something looks more commercially viable but the whole HotS community got thrown under the bus and Blizz is radio silence.

I'm not blaming you personally but someone handled the PR here like a train wreck. After Diablo Immortal people are wondering who is running the show now? They have clearly no idea how to deliver news even if it's bad to an adoring fan base. We have right to be angry.

Several hundred people just got laid off with no explanation AND the game so many love has dev resources stripped. It's basically a death sentence for competitive and really what's left after that?

I retweet this with the intent to try to stave off people attacking the devs personally like this... and yet... ????

I asked questions. It wasn't an attack on devs. Questions that the community deserves answers on but has got nothing. Everyone is holding their tongue. I wasn't blaming them for the decision.
