I found a piece of paper in my old discman/cd carrying case that has hand-written 40k army budgets on the reverse and MechWarrior 4 custom mech builds printed on the front. Some OPL players had not yet entered primary school when this paper had been used :/

Yup. But pretty sure I was still rocking my discman until the first gen iPods came out 
Although pretty sure I had an overlapping stint with an MP3 player in there somewhere too... circa 2001-2?

I had my Discman as late as 05, I believe.

I remember having a Sony Discman and it was a super fancy one cause it could play MP3 CDs. That was super cool
