To be honest, I struggle having conversations with people while I'm in pain, so my best advice is just to bring a tablet/laptop with high action series or really interesting game vods - and don't forget your headphones.

Yeah, I figure I'll either watch something or just read. I'm not sure how much more painful it'll be than plasma/blood donation, but I've had terrible sunburn before so I shouldn't be *too* out of sorts to do that.
