YouTube adjusts the quality of your video stream from standard definition (such as 240p or 360p) to high definition (720p or 1080p), based on the speed of your Internet connection. You can try deleting the app and reinstalling the app.

@TeamYouTube, i checked that on my friend's phone. He was able to view that same video on 1080p resolution. I even tried my office wifi, which is the fastest possible now. Still not helping.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -
