Couple that basic gaslighting & ignorance about internet basics with the brutality & aggression that communities of colour and trans folks face everyday by police. Reporting abuse to the cops is not an option for so many people because it’s less safe then the threats themselves.

But maybe that’s not you, then what? Can you throw money at organizations trying to end police brutality or online harassment? Can you volunteer or offer other kids of support? Can you amplify the voices of people who are doing critical social justice work?

Change happens because we demand it. Because we collectively organize and make it happen. Social progress is not just inevitable, as many folks are finally realizing the past couple years. So do something tangible and concrete and be in this struggle for the long term.

Releasing personal information such as a home address is ilegal, Therefore doing so will land you with jail time. And 99% of threats on the internet are empty. Plus anyone who's vaguely involved with the internet gets death threats. So it's not really a racial or gendered thing.
