I'm also quite surprised to see that for some people, the idea that you can love a film and still be critical of it IS too complex. Wow.

"critical of the media I love" - You can't talk 100% negative about something and say you "love" it. If you are looking for the good and the bad in a movie, TV Show, etc., then you are giving a "Critique".
-
then lemme be “critical” during this “critique” of your useless (and incorrect) mansplaining: It sucks. It is “100% negative”. Delete your account.
-
I'm actually being critical of Anita's tweet, which is proper use and context of the word "Critical". And "Delete your account"? You're an adult - talk like one. Creeping Jesus.
-
Nah, how about you stop criticizing women (again, incorrectly) over nonsensical non-issues because you’re a lonely white guy. And THEN delete your account. Also, getting advice on “acting like an adult” from this freakin schmo is just icing on the cake:pic.twitter.com/DMUUwsGAKu

I'm a Black Man in a loving relationship, who loves Breasts and isn't ashamed to admit or express it, and I can say whatever I feel like thanks to freedom of Speech. If you don't like that. Fine. Don't judge a book by its cover, btw.
-
You won’t get locked up in jail because of freedom of speech. You WILL get called out on shitty misogynistic speech, though. And you’re not brave for “liking breasts” while also harassing women. You’re just a lonely, off-putting creep. Delete your account.
-
I'm not a misogynist and giving my opinion to anyone regardless of gender, race or if you just don't plain like it, is perfectly fine. I'm being respectful and approachable - I'm just voicing my opinion. You... just want me to delete my account. Thanks for wasting my time. Bye.
-
Bye, misogynist! Hope all this was worth it to give an incorrect definition of the word “critical”! Going forward, feel free to not give unwelcome corrections and opinions to women, just because you’re scared of them. And feel free to delete your account.

"Critical" - expressing adverse or disapproving comments or judgments. See also: disparaging, disapproving, scathing, fault-finding, judgmental, accusatory, negative, and unfavorable. All these words are the opposite of "love"
-
“Fault finding” is literally the definition of being critical. Lol
-
"fault-finding" - Definition: continual criticism, typically concerning trivial things. Long live the dictionary.

I felt the same. But I was pleasantly surprised that the film turned out to be much more subtle than the annoying "He's a jerk but it's because he's a genius" trope.

Movies are a fantasy ment to help us escape reality through entertainment ,but no, NO, the Queen of division & turning everything into bigotry so as to wield feminism as a weapon, to control the masses & punish those who don't conform to this new form of 1950's moral busy bodies

That's how it was with me and watching Stargate SG-1, Atlantis, Smallville, Arrow, The Flash, and almost everything.

I think the takeaway is that everyone eventually dies - either someone kills you or you kill yourself - so why not have some fun with it?
