As an armor/weapons I hate it, but I've given up on the idea that the boob armor trope is ever going away as long as consumers expect it and media producers are motivated purely by the profit motive.

Actually it turns out dedicated breast armor would be superior to flat armor. No I mean this in a totally legit and non-sexual way. The objectification of women is absolute shit. This is the rare time that an ulterior sexist design is accidentally accurate
