Hate it because you assumed the creators were white and it would be problematic to be seen liking it Love it because you found out the creators weren't white people Letting someones race decide if you like what they do, is backwards progress.

It’s actually worse than that. It’s plain racism, racial discrimination and bigotry.

Where do you come off speaking for an entire race, especially one to which you do not belong. I am Mexican and White, and I never speak on behalf of my perspective races. So what gives you the right to characterize us as against this game? Your presumptiveness is insulting.
-
she did not in fact do that.
-
She didn't accuse the creators of the game of appropriating Mexican culture?
-
oh for sure. she didn’t however “characterize [you] as against the game”
-
You are mincing words. It is funny that someone who has a 3 part series on the issues regarding the trope of the damsel in distress is all to eager to pick up the cape of Prince Charming when it comes to race. Hypocrisy at its finest.
-
literally what? uhg i probably don’t even wanna know

-
We can keep it high level then. Do you enjoy when people speak on your behalf without your consent? What if they are so antagonistic in their defense of you, they have to apologize to those they affronted publically? What gives a person the proclivity to drag me into controversy?
-
she apologized bc she got a crucial fact wrong about the development of the game. she never invoked you or claimed to speak on behalf of mexicans. you are attacking a straw man.

You think all mexicans are one color? My dad is white, my mother is brownish and both are mexicans, As a mexican I don't care about people celebrating or developing a game based on my culture and I wouldn't mind a team of white people doing something with it, don't be stupid.

I find it offensive that you immediately assumed that Mexicans can't program

Research is important when approaching a topic.
-
Ahahahaha. You're asking Anita to research anything? We are talking about someone that deliberately did what a game told you NOT to do, and didn't reward you for, as an "objective" in a game.

Seems like that would be the sort of thing you'd want to check first before popping off about, no?
