    4/5... and, even though it was not a full Kumbh, I was there two weeks ago, at Sangam - the confluence of the Ganges, the Yamuna, and the (imaginary) Saraswati. (A smaller Mela happens every year - but its still vast)

    2/5 Every 12 years, on the outskirts of my family's hometown of Allahabad (now "Prayagraj"), a city for 7 million people rises from the Ganges floodplain. About 100 million visit over the 10 weeks for this most holy of Hindu festivals. I was there in 2001 ...

    4/n this is why in a 2013 paper led by we relabelled the axes. On the y-axis we now have “awareness (level/content of C)” while on the x-axis we have “vigilance” (= wakefulness).
