This is a huge update: You can build & launch a full-stack or static site, using frameworks like React or Eleventy, in *under a minute* — for FREE. It's now faster to build a real, coded website on Glitch than with a no-code tool. See for yourself:

When i 1st came in the game people laughed at me doing sound effects in my music😩I used to cry when they clowned me but then I kept doing wild sounds/crazy adlibs in my songs & people began to rock wit it🙌🏾 Years later those same sound effects are big in songs today🙌🏾🔥

There was a bill introduced into the NYC city council months ago to allow delivery workers to use the bathrooms at restaurants they’re running deliveries for and it hasn’t moved an INCH. What’s the holdup????

I became an ICU nurse at the end of July in 2020, during one of the first peaks of covid when it was all still so new. I learned how to be a nurse behind a respirator and a yellow gown, amidst the constant beeping and hissing of ventilators that couldn't support failing lungs.

One of the flaws of the English language that most vexes me is the dire inadequacy of the word “pepper” to cover all the important uses that the word needs to perform.

Having spent a considerable amount of time exploring the metaverse, I disagree with this statement. Yes, both of these are possible, but they are by far NOT the only two reasons to want to spend serious time in a metaverse.

out now with ; Soft Corruptor, an unfolding html poem about pokemon blue, out of bounds areas, atomic structures, view source, ghosts you can read it at

    soft corruptor

when i was in the 3rd grade
i convinced my friend's older sister to loan me her gameboy color
with pokemon blue
on the one condition
that i never save over her file.

this was contraband; my parents couldn't know
i smuggled that gameboy home and kept it inside my pillowcase, turning it on
at an almost imperceptible volume
after i’d been put to bed for the night.
because of my promise to never save, i had, generally, somewhere between 6 and 10 hours to beat the game
that year, the margins of my schoolwork filled with (what i would later learn were) 'speedrun strats'
i was angling for the elite four, the ostensible win condition of pokemon
the house we lived in was old
the driveway was long
around this time, we learned in school about the structure of atoms

Great perspective from the one person who’s been reporting on (what’s now being hyped as) the Metaverse longer than anyone else.

There’s something very uncanny about contemporary songs that use samples of vintage drum machines but arrange them into rhythms that weren’t possible on those old machines. Feels itchy!
