I can’t lie, I’m excited to watch this with my kid. m.youtube.com/watch?v=m9EX0f I know all the (valid) critiques of the Marvel-ification of all of media, and the shallowness of representation-as-culture, but it’s a character he loves, and that has meaning, and maybe that’s enough.
