This is interesting, because the concern is not wrong, but also nearly every open source advocate would cringe at almost any of these participants fairly representing open source priorities. How would we change who's at the table to make it more likely this is positive for OSS?

Glad to hear that open source foundations were present there, though it's probably telling that most of the first reports I heard didn't mention them. twitter.com/cra/status/148 Also, I didn't mean slight the effective & sincere OS advocates at the companies present.

that's not completely fair... 1) the ASF and LF were also there which represent a huge chunk of open source 2) a lot of those orgs mentioned are part of @theopenssf which is trying to bring everyone together 3) those orgs also contribute a ton opensourceindex.io
