i only added emily and victor cause they had little chemistry imo compared to victor and victoria AKSKSKS but thats just me

To be fair, Charlie and Sam were not supposed to be dating at the end the way the movie makes it seem. In the book, she knew all along that he liked her, but she didn't share the feeling b/c he was a freshman and naïve and just generally uninterested. She felt for him as a friend
