Despite huge supply in the US, I’m hearing from people in many states that it’s not easy for the elderly to get a booster appointment now. Many places are full, apparently for weeks. Sadly, the benefit to living in a lower- vac-rate county in Oregon made the mass-vax event reasonably easy to get through, once with my adult son (30 min) and again with the 16 year old on Friday (about an hour.)

Are you in or near Portland? Friends of mine there have managed to find walk-in boosters available at Lecare pharmacy and at Playdate PDX (a children’s play space, but they’re also doing covid vaccines for some reason)
