That being said, I'm thinking about how to approach the public release. I think I'll actually wait for Cydia Substrate and Cydia (or rather, dpkg+APT) to start working on iOS 11 before doing anything. Electra was meant for developers, and it shows.

Even some developers can also fail in some situation so how does advanced users can able to survive? You will never know when you get in trouble. Little mistake can force your device to restore! You are in risk with Respringloop or Bootloop. I not recommend to take a risks!

Well again I’m a beginner dev and I know my way around ssh/iOS very well so if I get into “trouble” I’ll know how to fix it

Is good that you know but alot of people does not! My friend is a Android Developer but he said he knows nothing about iOS & he also wait for Cydia & Substrate for iOS 11. He will not do anything stupid like other public users... he wait for my tips also for Cydia & Substrate.

Good call if you’re a beginner or average user, I have electra running on my 8plus with 62 tweaks installed zero issues. Very happy I will not be installing cydia

So i recommend you & other public users to stay away from "Electra". Why does alot of people doesn't understand that is for "Developers" only. Not for public use! Coolstar already said & he is not responsible for public users who ruins their device accidently! Risk is Risk!

And I'm sure those very users read that from Coolstar. But the fact that the vast majority of users hear absolutely nothing from Saurik is why those very people put their devices at risk. It is their $ and a choice those people make. People do things a different way. That's

There is already thousands of public user using Electra... I'm a Jailbreaker since 2009 but i still dont take a risk. I wait for Cydia & Substrate to be updated for iOS 11. I'm wishing Saurik a best luck to complete the best jailbreak experience Cydia & Substrate for iOS 11!
